in school, after the nasty weather?? Our kids were off Tuesday and Wednesday and finally headed back to school today. We had 10 inches of snow but the roads seem to clear up quickly.

We have about 12-14 inches. Kids and dh was off Mon, Tues and Wed! Dh had a 2 hour delay, but dds went on time.

My mom said their schools were closed Tuesday and Wednesday (closed Tuesday night). They may have been closed Monday, too. I don't know if they're open today or not. She's in central Michigan. We had a 2hr delay Monday for slick roads here in Colorado, but today it's supposed to be in the upper 40's and tomorrow's supposed to be in the 50's. Then snow again by Sunday--just in time to cancel/delay school for Monday again.

The schools here were closed Tuesday and Wednesday. And are back at school today. I think we have about 5 inches here.That doesn't sound like much after Marg's 12-14 inches! Sheesh!

It's funny because we live on top of a mountain and 2miles away (down off the mountain) they probably only got 6-7. My old boss used to laugh when I told him how much more snow we received (I know he thought I was lying). It's like a whole other world up here, lol!

Now today it is 9 degree`s and the wind chill is
-25 ! It is so cold.
My nose hairs froze when I took dd to Dr.`s appointment. LOL.
I was kind of suprised that the kids still had school because the roads are still icey in spots and
when it is this cold , the salt on the roads does not work.

Our's were off Monday and Tuesday, although Tuesday imho they could've went back, the school is right down the street and my ds in high school is about a mile walk but he usually does get a ride. We only got a few inches, but on Sunday we had got a huge ice storm so it was homebound for us over the weekend!! They are calling for more snow in the next few days.. That is funny sue about your nose hairs..Lol!

My kids went back today too...we were off Mon. Tues and Wed. and had a 2 hour delay this morning. I went out and had my nails done and went to the library. They are calling for another 3 inches tonight so I needed to get while the getting was good!!!

Yes mine are thank goodness ahhhh lol i'm off of work tonight and pulling my hair out they don't respect anything and i'm going crazy here.Nicholas has decided to act like a two year old and whine about everything and alex has decided he is tired of being picked on by nick and getting him back lol...Calgon take me away far far away lol.
