Annie:-)
Annie, I've had you on my mind a lot lately. I hope you and the kids are doing okay. ((Hugs))
Thanks for thinking of me I'm doing okay. My sister came into town until the 27th. Not the sister that usually visits but my other one. She's been great with the kids...helping me keep them busy. Yesterday she helped put a new computer desk together and made spag/meatball dinner for all of us. today she is putting gingerbread houses together with the kids and then we are all going to the movies. She also gave me a Reiki treatment and foot massage last night. My shopping and wrapping is all complete except for stocking stuffers; which we'll get tomorrow. The kids are with me through Christmas then the three small ones will go with their dad Wed through Friday....they don't want to stay longer than that. I'm taking each day as it comes. This is the time last year when everything hit the fan so I know these next couple of weeks will be tough BUT then I have a New Year with no FIRSTS. In Jan I am going with my neighbor/friend to Seattle for a long weekend. She is a photographer, going to a conference and I am tagging along. I'll be on my own to see the city during the day but am looking forward to the solace and adventure. Have a Merry Christmas and thanks for your thoughts
Annie, look how much has happened in the last year, and how far you have come! Be proud, you have made it through that awful first year, stronger, classier, and with your self respect and pride intact!!! Quite an accomplishment! Merry Christmas to you - enjoy your sister's visit, and your upcoming weekend in Seattle!
Ditto Karen - Very well said! I admire you Annie, and how much stronger you have come out of all this, even when it seemed like it was too much to bear. You go girl.
I know I haven't posted much in the past several months but I have been thinking about you. I ditto what Karen said. Have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy your visit with your sister and your trip.
{{{HUGS}}} Enjoy your trip to Seattle! I've never been there!
I'm so glad the kids will be with you through Christmas! Ditto Karen and Reds. I admire you so much. The weekend in Seattle sounds fun! I have been there once. It's a wonderful place to visit! Merry Christmas, Annie.
Very happy to hear you're doing so well Annie, you're right this new year with no firsts will be much easier (or at least it was for me). I'm envious of your trip alone to explore Seattle, have fun!
Have a wonderful Christmas, Annie, and a new year full of promise and lots of wonderful new beginnings. I agree with everyone else who says, "look how far you have come in a year". I, too, am glad that the kids will be with you. And it sure sounds like you have wonderful siblings. They have all been a help to you. Here's to the new year and a wonderful rest of your life!! ((HUGS)).
