He dropped a bowling ball on his foot.
He was getting it out of our van
before Dd`s swim meet and the bag
was not
zipped up, so it fell out on to his foot.
Actually it was his big toe and it is
all black on the bottom.
He won`t go to ER.
I really thought he should and he said that there isn`t much that they could do.
Has this happened to any one here before?

Youch!!! I've never done that. I hope he didn't break it! Ya know, the hospital's not that far and they've got a great ER. I've been there many time (either as a kid myself or with my kids--seems everytime we visit my mom one or both of them end up there! lol). Hope it's feeling better soon. Glad your dd's meet went well!

Glad the swim meet went nwell. I think that's true about broken toes - there really isn't much you can do for them, although he's probably having quite a bit of pain. Hope he's better soon!

I think the only thing the ER can do is give him something for the pain. I have broken a couple of my toes and they can't cast them so they generally tape them to another toe and leave them go. Good job at the swim meet.
