Salon hair
I went to the salon last night to get my hair highlighted. Everytime I leave I notice my hair is so much softer and I have no fly-aways. I think I'm going to have to ask them new time about the fly-away thing. I have tried difusers, leave in conditioner, nothing seems to help. Do you guys know any tricks?
I love the shampoos and conditioners that they use at salons. I've tried a few at home before and they are great, but expensive. So, I just use regular grocery store shampoo (pantene). There is one product I swear by though! It is called biosilk. They have shampoo and conditioners and other products, but this one is just an oil type product. It smells soooo good! I style my hair, and then put a LITTLE amount of biosilk in my hand rub hands together and then run hands through my hair. It definitely has helped with flyaways and frizzies! I pay $12.00 for a bottle (not too big) and it lasts quite awhile!
Ok, I will have to check that out. I just bought some Biolage shampoo and conditioner. I LOVE that stuff. I was so excited and showed DH, he was like, it's JUST shampoo! I said, yeah just wait until you smell my hair! Thanks for the advice!
I was thinking I should tell you it's called "Biosilk Silk Therapy". It's in an almost clear bottle with a black lid
St. Ives makes a bottle of oil type stuff in a clear bottle with a maroon dropper and it works great also! I have tried every frizzy flyaway product and this stuff, along with the blow dryer make my hair pretty straight. I am actually thinking about the japanese straightner but it isn't in my budget at the moment. One day I won't have to take 2 hours to blow dry...UUGGHH can't wait. LOL
I use Biosilk also, its AWESOME!
Just wanted to add in that I LOVE Biolage, too!!!!!!!!! Salons sell hair wax that is not greasy or heavy on your hair. It prevents fly-aways.
I use the Biosilk Silk Therapy too and I love it!! You do have to make sure and use just a little or it will make your hair oily! But it does leave you hair soft and no fly aways! I have also tried the shampoo, but I'm not as crazy about it as I am the Silk Thereapy. The Beauty Shop inside of our Wal-Mart carries it and it's a *little* cheaper than buying it at the salon, so that is what I have started doing.
