We went to our super Walmart this a.m ~warning!
We were supposed to grocery, but oh my golly! The sales, my daughter is 5'5" (as tall as me) so she wears adult clothes, she's only 11. THE SALES THEY WERE HAVING, I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR TO SHOP FOR HER We bought her 3 pants, 1 jacket and 3 shirts for under $50! When we came home she tried everything on and loved everything. Now I wish I would have gotten her 1 more pair of pants in black. You know the type of pants I'm talking about the younger girls and women wear them, they look like fashionable sweatpants. I'm sorry I was just too excited, I used my Christmas money to buy her clothes, some clothes for dd age 8 and you're not gonna believe this, toys that were up to 75% off for birthdays and maybe even next Christmas. I spent my $100 and got 17 things (that included dd's clothes listed above)! I'm sorry, this is something I would've dragged my mom along to do, and I just had to tell somebody I was just so excited! Watch out for those sales ladies! The worse thing is I didn't do any grocery shopping but I still have the money to do it (I didn't spend that money, but was tempted lol). We just spend too much time looking at the sales stuff! BTW, I did buy myself a bag of the Ghirardelli Carmel Chocolate Squares, I will have to exercise twice as hard, these are my new weakness!
YEAH for you! I love bargains. We don't have a Super Wal-Mart, only a regular one. I have to avoid the place or I spend too much $. LOL! BTW, I'm also 5'5".
So am I Trina! Dh had a great uncle who was 6'4". I think Rachel is going to be a tall girl But it makes me feel old standing beside her!
I love the after Christmas sales. We went to Target the other day and I ended up buying my oldest DD a bunch of pants (she is growing tall so quickly I can't keep up) and they were $2-5 each. I was supposed to decrease my spending but she really does need new pants ! I know what you mean about being excited about great shopping. I try to tell my DH about my shopping ventures but he pretty much tells me he doesn't really care-so go ahead and share-I love to hear about shopping bargains!
lol, Marg. I love to hit the after Christmas sales. I bought dd a whole bunch of shirts and a pair of shorts for $1-3 a piece and they should all fit her this summer.
Awesome steals there Marg i told you about Meijer so at least you have some awesome ones near you too...
