Has anyone tried Contours? (Similar to Curves..)
I am just curious if anyone has first hand experience with Contours...(hoping that is the right name,lol) I tried Curves without success. I know the main difference is you circuit train with weights, not resistance..I did a practice session yesterday and boy was I sore! UUGGHH
Yes! I am a member. I really like it and lost 6 inches in about 8 and 1/2 weeks. I just went last night for the first time in about 3 weeks because of the hoilday and kids being off school. I am sore also, LOL. I am going tonight. I really like it,let me know how it goes for you!
Sue3, I have been wanting to jump in and join but I figured since Curves didn't work for me and I paid for the year, I didn't want to make the same mistake again. I did my pilates this am and I am really wanting to get into this whole excersise routine again. Thanks for the info..it seems you are doing great. Have you been watching what you eat? If so what are you following..just curious!
no I have not,though I really need to. I did try the southbeach diet for 2 weeks,that was o.k.I am thinking of writing things down what I eat . That will make me more conscience of what I put in my mouth I think. I will probaly keep watching the carbs. I have a horrible sweet tooth also especially right before my cycle I can`t control it . It`s really bad so I need to work on that. Isn`t there a magic herb you can take to control sugar cravings?lol I wish !
Well, you are doing great without even watching the way you eat..That is good for me.. Beings I love to indulge in pizza..lol I can feel it in my shoulders today. Last night it was my thighs...And to think I thought I was in half descent shape..lol P.S Are you in California? just curious...I don't know if they have Contours everywhere,yet.
I have a pizza in the oven right now! I really do have to watch what I eat though if I want to lose more weight. I need to lose a least 25#. It is probally more because I am sure that I have gained over the holidays.lol I just got back from a 3 mile walk and I feel great! I just have to keep this up for the next 5 months before summer. I am from Michigan. I feel it in my shoulders also ! Also my back. Soon we will be lean and in shape and won`t feel these muscles we never knew we had. LOL ! Are you on any kind of diet?
Sue, I'm not on any kind of diet, but I am trying to eat different and think about what goes in my body. I know that in order to loose you need to not only excersise but cut calories. My problem is I don't eat and then when I get hungry I eat what is easy, convient and probably not the best choices. Sue, About craving sweets right before your period, what you are really craving is magnesium. If you supplement your diet with magnesium starting about 3-4 days before you get it, your cravings should dramatically decrease. Chocolate has magnesium in it so thats why women usually crave chocolate when they are pmsing. I know I do, I always want Hersheys chocolate bar. Anyways, hope that helps.
