I am finished!
I just finished making my small dog (Baily), a coat, and a hat, lol. He is black all over, so I made him a red coat, and a red hat, with a pom pom on top. He looks so cute! My middle dd said, " mom isn't their a saying about going overboard? ah I don't care, their is alot of snow on the ground, so he went out and played in the snow with his coat on, so he stayed nice and warm. I am not sure if I am going to make a coat for charley our black lab, as that would be alot of wool!
I see that you are a "nightowl" like me, but when I saw that you are in BC, Canada, it isn't as late (or early, depending how you look at it, LOL), as it is here in the Eastern US. What are you, THREE hours behind us? The coat and hat sound ADORABLE!! Did you knit or crochet it? I love red on a black animal. Red is my favourite colour, anyway. Anyone else working on a needlework project right now? Winter is a great time to work on projects.
My mom used to do this with a cocker spaniel she had named "Fang." He was very small for a cocker spaniel, but she would always put his coat on before taking him out. He would shiver all the time when it was cold. Sometimes she would let him sleep in it.
LOL, how cute Our neighbors have a tiny little dog that is black and they have a yellow coat for her. I think she is a pomeranian (sp).
Hi, Hol, well, the time that was posted on the message board, was not our actual time. It was alot earlier. But I must say sometime I do stay up late, if I am close to getting a project done. I crocheted it, it was like a work in progress kind of a coat, I just kept trying it on him, to make sure I got the right size, It took about 1 1`/2 nights. I am going to post my time here, so you can see what the time difference is It is 8:00 am right now.
Can we see a picture of your pooch in the coat? I would love to see it!
I will have to get my sister to come down with her ditial camera, and take a picture of him, the next time she comes into town. He does not mind the coat, but the hat I am not sure of.
