We are home
We are back home, have been for about 3 days. We have been non stop unpacking since we walked through the door and we are almost done. I hung almost all the pictures today and just have part of the kitchen and some of the garage left. I have missed you guys these last couple of weeks.
I wondered where you got to! How did everything go? Are you and the kids "settled in?" Do you like your new place, aren't I full of questions, lol Did you have a nice Christmas and New Year's?
We had a good visit with my inlaws. Alli didn't get sick like she does EVERYTIME we go up there. We gave her some dramamine this time and it worked great. Christmas was very hectic, so many people, so many little people (kids). New Years was spent assembling furniture..A new computer desk for me, a desk for the kids, mini entertainment stands for the play room and our room. 2 book shelfs for by the computer, a toy box, a table and chair set for the kids, a Baker's rack, 4 floor lamps and a hanging cabnit for the bathroom that hardly holds anything. We are just about settled in. My dh flooded the laundry room and kitchen last night. He had just put the hot water hose on the washer and slid it over, put the lint hose on the dryer and slid it over so I could put a laundry sorter in between the two. Then he decided to do a load of laundry. The hose had come loose on the bottom of the washer from sliding it over. I had just sat down to watch American Wedding and he yelled get in her quick. What a mess. As for the new house, the layout is taking some getting used to but I do really like it. I've gotten the play room completly done, as well as the sleeping room. I'll try to take some pictures this week and post them. (just as soon as I figure out where we put the digital) How was your Christmas and New Years?
Wow! A lot going on at your house! Hope things calm down soon and you're able to enjoy settling into your new home.
Yes, take pictures Kristie! Do you like your new neighbors?
