Oreo Cake Recipes
Which one of these four recipes would be best to use to make an oreo cake. I am going to go buy the ingredients for this in a couple of hours. But I'm not sure which recipe to use: some says to use 1 8oz. container of cream cheese and others say to use 2 8oz. container of crean cheese. OREO CAKE #1 1 (20 ounce) package Oreo cookies crushed between waxed paper (doublestuff cookies are best) 1/2 cup butter 1 (16 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese 1 cup confectioners' sugar 2 cups milk 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix Crush cookies into bite size pieces. Reserve 1 cup for top. Melt butter and mix with rest of cookies. Press into 9x13 pan. Put in freezer for 5 minutes. Blend 1/2 of the whipped topping, all of the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar. Spread over crust and place cake back in freezer. Prepare instant pudding with the milk according to package directions then spread over top of cake. Spread the remaining whipped topping on top of the pudding then sprinkle with the remaining cookies. Keep cake refrigerated. ======================================= OREO CAKE #2 14 oz. pkg. Oreo cookies 8 oz. cream cheese 2 sm. French vanilla instant pudding 12 oz. Cool Whip 1 c. powdered sugar 3 c. milk Crush 2/3 Oreos, put in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Mix Cool Whip, cream cheese and powdered sugar in a bowl. Mix pudding and 3 cups milk in another bowl. Pour into Cool Whip mixture and fold together well. Pour over cookies. Crush rest of cookies and put on top. Refrigerate and enjoy. ================================================ OREO CAKE #3 package Oreo cookies crushed between waxed paper (doublestuff cookies are best) 3/4 stick (3 ounces) butter, melted 1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened 1 cup confectioners sugar 2 containers cool whip 1 large package instant chocolate pudding prepared according to directions PREPARATION: Mix together crushed oreos and butter; press into 9 x 13 pan. Blend cream cheese and powdered sugar together; add 1 container Cool Whip and spread on top of crust. Layer prepared pudding over cream cheese layer. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Garnish top with reserved cookie crumbs that have not been mixed with butter or grated chocolate. ================================================ OREO CAKE #4 1 (16 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 2 (8 oz.) pkg. whipped topping 1 c. confectioners' sugar 1 1/2 sticks butter 1 pkg. chocolate pudding 2 c. milk Crush Oreos very fine. Spread 1/2 Oreos on bottom of pan or flower pot and pour butter over Oreos. Let chill in refrigerator for 1 hour. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar to 1 box of whipped topping until smooth. Prepare pudding as directed on package. Spread cream cheese mixture over cookies, then layer chocolate pudding and other container of whipped topping. Sprinkle remaining Oreos on top. If you use flower pot you can make more layers and stick an artificial flower in for a surprise.
Hmmm, I have an idea. Make all four, send me a piece of each, and I will let you know! haha! I would go with number one. Any cake with vanilla pudding in it always turns out well!
