Sarah gets vacation tomorrow. Normal-ish day for the rest of us!
Emily and I both think that since Sarah's home, that tomorrow we can all play, but she has to go to school and I have to work at school, so none of that has changed. We are both done around 1pm, so we have most of the day to play, but both of us wish we didn't have to get up so early. Sarah wants pancakes, but we will wait until Saturday to have them, so we can all be there. I have to work on Friday morning, at my clinic job, so not then, either. Wah. It just seems like we should all have Wednesday off! LOL!
We've been off all week from school, I work tomorrow. Brendan leaves for his dad's tomorrow.
My kids are off today, through Monday. We will be doing yard work as soon as we get Callie off to work. Weather is supposed to be flipping around here. Today it is over cast and T shirts tomorrow they are calling for the "white stuff" and by Friday we are supposed to be in the 30's with more of the "white stuff". So we have pushed yard work back to the point that we have no choice now. My lawn furniture is still out, we have two storm windows to get into my picture windows and we so need to rake the yard. It is going to be a long day... Glad Sarah is home, hope you all find some good down time together...
My kids are off today. My little boy broke his jaw over the weekend, so our Thanksgiving weekend is going to be a pretty big wash. We are going to my inlaws for dinner tomorrow. DH is going to work on Friday, which is optional, but since he missed a couple of days for the broken jaw ordeal, we figured that we need the extra money. It will be double and 1/2 pay, so it will be worth it. We are going to start getting out our Christmas decorations today
Breann, I'm so sorry your son broke his jaw! I can't even imagine how painful. I hope he's not hurting too much. I imagine getting the Christmas decor out might cheer all of you up.:-) Well, Dawn, hopefully you and Emily are done with school and work now and you're all home now. Glad Sarah is home. Happy Thanksgiving!
Oh yeah. 1pm came soon enough! We were busy working on all of our needlecrafts. Emily and I were knitting and Sarah was crocheting. AFter supper, we were working on some of our Thanksgiving food. Breann, how did your son break his jaw? Did he have to get his mouth wired? {{{HUGS}}} And right before Thanksgiving, too. UGH.
