Christmas Lists
What are your kids asking for for Christmas? Our oldest is interested in PS3 games (surprise, surprise), a Revolution football helmet, Heely's, and a few other things. Peyton wants Polly Pocket, Barbie, a pretty dress...all those great girly things. It's Griffin that throws me for a loop every year. He apparently has been quite inspired by the movie Ratatouille and wants a chef's hat (and asked for it by the proper name, which I can never remember). One birthday he wanted a Buddha. Another year he asked for Sun Chips (and was soooooooo happy when he got them!). The kid is a complete nut. LOL. So what are your kids asking for?
My ds, 8, wants a toy wrestling ring and super powers, lol. Sure, no problem! lol! When dh explained to him that spiderman was bitten by a radioactive spider he paused, and asked how you could know a spider was radioactive before you let it bite you. I'd say super heroes are his thing right now. My 7 year old dd wants monkey things, she is a fan of Bobby Jack but any monkey is ok. She wants a bigger bike as well. My nearly 4 year old dd wants baby dolls, a doll bed and a Barbie house. Her birthday is right before Christmas. I want a chef's hat too, just for a pick me up during the dinner blues!
My youngest wants a Star Wars Lego set, and a few games for his nintendo ds. My oldest wants , guitar hero, and some games for his nintendo ds. They both have asked for a WII. We got them the WII, and a few games for their nintendo ds. My parents got them the Legos and guitar hero. And, then my parents also got them a air hockey table, which they are going to be so excited about.
My daughter wants a LEGO Castle set, a rock tumbler, a dinosaur dig and a bunch of other science related stuff. She does want a few Barbie and Polly Pocket stuff but I asked her to tell her MIL about those as her MIL likes to buy the girly stuff and I love the science stuff. My son is getting a little Thomas the Tank Engine laptop and probably a bunch of Thomas and Hot Wheels related things.
They want EVERYTHING! Ame
Yarn shop gift cards for Emily! She also wants sock yarn, point protectors and yarn needles, since that little stuff gets lost easily. The Simpson's movie DVD is another thing on her list. Sarah wants DVDs, like Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix. She also wants the DVD of Santa Clause, since we only have a video. There were also a few cds on her list, as well. (iTunes, Aeropostale, Delia's, and Barnes and Noble gift cards would be appreciated, by her, too.)
OH they want all the expensive things. Dd's list includes a Nintento DS, Xbox 360, Wii, and i don't know what else, I stopped looking after those 3! The thing is, she really doesn't play video games often. She just wants what her friends want. Ds wants the same stuff as sis, plus Apples to Apples, Battleship, transformers, dinosaur stuff (he loves dinos) and a magic kit. We actually already got them the Wii, it's more of a family gift since you know dh and I will be playing too. So they won't be getting much more than that! My mom got ds the Battleship game and we got ds apples to apples for his birthday, today.
My dd wants a psp, I think I mentioned that on here a few weeks ago. Ds wants a new steelers jersey ( his is showing wear) a few computer games, and a few video games. I am amazed that all of your kiddos seem to know what they want for christmas, all the kids I've asked around here say that they get so much throughout the year that they don't really know what they want, that was the case with mine till I told them that they really need to think about what they want because I don't want them to get a bunch of things that "I" think they would be interested in!
Jessica: Ipod speakers, books, & more books (she is addicted to the magna books) Addison: Lego Roller coaster set & a Waveboard
6 yo dd wants a trampoline and that's all she's asked for.
Welcome to the gimmes, my kids want EVERYTHING!!
Oh yeah, Sarah added ipod speakers and an armband, so when she goes to work out, at college, she can easily take her ipod with her. Emily would like a Nano, although, she likes the older style and you can get refurbished ones a lot cheaper than a new one.
nick and alex are getting ipods and that's it lol may seem harsh but the thing is is they don't take care of all the stuff they have now i'm not adding to the craziness...plus they get from both set's of grandparents too so i have no clue what they are getting them...and aunts and uncles also.
Well, since mine are *grown*, they don't have a list. They either want money, or clothes or electronic devices; in Jeff's case, it's musical equipment. However, I do have Madison to think about, and Jules has yet to give me a list. I haven't started shopping, I have no clue what I'm getting any of them, and I really *should* because we are leaving a week from tomorrow for 2 weeks and this weekend should be my *shopping* weekend. Oh well!
Adam--a sound machine that makes rain, brook, etc. noises; skateboarding stuff, music stuff Noah--Madden 08 for Xbox 360, Mizzou sweatshirt, a REAL Santa Hat Pretty easy and affordable stuff. We are also buying them sleds and a couple of months ago I got Spamalot tickets for the whole family that we'll put in their stockings. DH and I saw it in NYC 2 years ago and the Broadway tour is coming to Minneapolis. The boys will LOVE it!
I don't even have dd's list yet. She has mentioned a new ipod, clothes and a few movies and games for her ds and computer though. I will start shopping next week, so she better get on it and get her list finished up!
I just got my list from the kiddos. dd wants clothes from hollister, several games for her ds and the wii, a couple of board games (apples to apples). middle kid/son, wants all video games, I told him, he had to put other stuff on his list. So he added a digital camera. He just had a bday, so he already got so much from friends and grandparents. the youngest, he is mr iwant. He broke his ds this summer, so he would really like a new one. Several games, star wars figures, a new cinci reds ball cap, legos and more legos. I am not sure what we are getting them. We have bought the new ds, and a wii game for each (they were on sale last week, buy two get one free). I am going to go out shopping in the am, who knows what I will find. I kind of want a laptop, but then again, maybe dd would like that instead of her whole list. Depends what I find I suppose.
My 7 yr old wants Smackdown vs Raw 2008 for his ps2 and some kind of wrestling dome. My 3 yr old just says Monster trucks and motorcycles
Natalie wants EVERYHING - ditto Ame - but then again, she's only 3. Scrapbook die cute machine and dies for me, plus a few books. DH wants a game or two, a new watch, and some gift certs for Best Buy. He's saving up for an HD DVD player.
Connor keeps saying he wants "candy"...LOL
15.5 yo ds wants a paint ball gun. 14 yo ds want a digital camera, new Oblivion game that came out for XBOX 360. 7.5 yo ds wants a yellow lab, black lab, chocolate lab (i think he wants all our dogs back home- 2 are in CR and one is at mil's and Dad says we can't have him back, due to his arthritis that he had BEFORE we moved??...okie doke...), a game for his DS, a bunch of remote control stuff, Mouse Trap game, fart machine...the list keeps getting longer each week. He added more to it last night. lol I'll have to have a chat with him. HE was only suppose to list 3 things. He was going around to people at Thanksgiving asking them what they wanted for Christmas, because he thought he could get away with adding their things to his list for them. ;) Sweet kid. lol 7 yo ds hates riding around in our nasty old truck and misses the nice new truck we had before we moved. So he informed me he was buying me a new car for Christmas. LOL Awesome!!! My 15 yo has been driving our old truck and I asked if he wanted to buy it for his first car...He said NOooooo, it drives awful! lol It really does drive awful now for some reason. Guess I need to have the tires checked or something. It's all over the road. HE then told me he is buying his Dad a WATCH...with the date and time.
Dd10 wants a camera, mp3 player, and the Harry Potter books we don't already own. Ds8 wants a chess set, an Eyeclops, and some baseball gear for the spring. Dd6 wants Barbies, a bike and a Webkinz. Dh wants Guitar Hero3 for the Wii, some equipment for his tattoo shop and a watch. I've got the gimmes this year and want everything! It's terrible.
Tink, Good luck with finding a Guitar Hero 3 for Wii, my ds wants one and I can't seem to find them anywhere! All the ads have them for Playstation, and xbox 360 but not Wii!
My DD has a list about a mile long. Most of it looks like "junk stuff" to me. (things that will be fun on Christmas, but will then end up being thrown away a couple of months down the road because they are all mixed up and disastrous.) My DS wants a flat screen tv to hang on his wall. He's only 5, lol. That will NOT be happening We purchased a joint "main" gift a few weeks ago. It's an air hockey table that switches into a couple of other game tables as well. We got the nicer version, so I hope it holds up well. We'll also get them some new gameboy games.
