Insulated food bags

How well do they work keeping things hot? I need to make a lasagna, a turkey and a spiral ham using the same oven. I thought about getting one of these for the lasagna. TIA

I don't know how well they work, but if you have a heating pad you can use that to keep your lasagna hot. I got that tip from Alton Brown on the food channel about a year ago and it really works well. Just place a towel between your hot lasagna pan and the heating pad.

Great tip, thanks

They keep food warm for about 2 hours (or they claim to, anyway. I've taken an egg bake to church, before a special breakfast and told them to leave it packed up. I think when we came out of church, it was still somewhat warm. The heating pad would probably work better for keeping it warm, since the heat is constant and not trying to cool off.

Thanks Tunnia - that's a great tip! Especially since I just got back from the store and couldn't find the bags anyways.

Oh! I forgot all about a heating pad! I saw that on Alton's show, too. That sounds like a great idea... now I just have to go buy one. :)
