Garbage cans
How is it that even though I use a plastic bag in my kitchen garbage can, the garbage can gets dirty anyway? The bag in there must have had a hole, because I emptied it tonight and it was all wet on the bottom and then there was a paper towel at the bottom, too! I don't know how that got there, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't me! LOL! So, it's enough work emptying garbage, but then you need to clean the garbage cans, too! Ugh. The one in the bedroom, I should use a plastic bag, but I don't. So, I understand how that one gets dirty. I had to wash that one too, tonight. So, I haven't gotten to my knitting, since I was dealing with garbage cans!
I hate them, hate them, hate them. (Garbage cans, that is.) I use lots of Lysol spray and try not to think of the colonies of bacteria that may be forming under the plastic garbage bag in the kitchen. Seriously, tho, I did clean out the can probably last June and it's still clean! We all just have to be more careful of what we put in the garbage can that could put a hole in the bag.
Yeah, I did lots of handwashing last night! LOL!
Once you find the answer to that mystery, please let me know! lol It's my husband's responsibility to deal with the trash cans for the most part. He's the type to spray them, I'm the type to wash them out. I try not the think about the bottom of the trash can until I see that it is getting too yucky and then I give them a good washing. Ditto on the tons of handwashing afterwards!
