Moderator quick question
Why are my posts showing that they are posted an hour earlier than when I am actually posting them? Something to do with the time change this weekend?
It's the time change. The time normally changes the last weekend in October, but this year changes the first weekend in November, so a lot of things are set to change that last weekend in Oct!
Either the board is set to automatically change to accommodate the time change, or John/Feona changed it. I am in central time zone, and normally all posts/times are an hour ahead of *my* time, and right now, they ARE my time. I'm sure Sunday things will be *normal* for us all.
I suspect it is an automatic program built into the Board's program, and programmed to go off DST last Sunday. We'll know when we see what happens next Monday morning. I know our IT people at work are running around like crazy adjusting various programs, and told us all to print out our attorneys Outlook calendars for the next several months and check on Monday to see if things match up properly. We had the same issue last Spring when we moved to DST.
And I see that my post above is one hour behind the actual DST time for me. Ah well - ain't computer programs wonderful. LOL
Yeah, the times are usually an hour ahead of my actual time, too! Cool, so the rest of the day today and tomorrow, the times will actually be right, for me!
Geez, you guys pay attention to that? LOL
