There was a medium sized (5.6) earthquake last night around 8pm. The epicenter was near San Jose, which is about midway between Melanie and myself. It was strong enough for us to feel it 50 miles away. This is the first earthquake that my dks have gone through and it really upset my oldest. She was worried that a stronger one would be coming. There have only been minor reports of damage and no one injured. Melanie, did you feel it last night?

I was driving home and missed it! The radio station I had on is out of San Jose and the dj sounded a bit shook up. When I got home, dh said he was on the couch and it started as a jolt and then kept going. He actually headed for the door as he was surprised at how long it lasted. He said he then tried to call me five times but couldn't get through with his cell.
