I could not, for the life of me, find my Nikon, that I bought in Hawaii in January. I pretty much lost it within weeks of buying it, so obviously I was not happy about it. I tore the house apart, moved, and still nothing! Well, I had to go outside tonight, and it was really windy and cold, so I grabbed my winter coat. Guess what was in the pocket!! The last picture was taken the week my friends deployed, so early February! The good news is I have my camera back, which I had put off replacing. The bad news? I *just* threw out the USB cord and data disks, since I had given up hope. Thank god for eBay!!!

Wow! I'm glad you found it, but sorry you threw away the stuff. If you buy a card reader, you don't need the cord. I never use my cord at all. I just use Picasa to download my digital pictures. Card readers can be found at Walmart for about $20. I have mine velcroed to the side of my tower.

Agree with Dawn, just go out and get a card reader. Likely much cheaper and a heck of a lot quicker than dealing with EBay. No need for the USB or the CD then.

I have gotten in the habit of looking through my coat pockets and purses if something comes up missing. I tend to forget things in them all the time.

Just remember to put your card back in your camera right away! LOL! I've seen Sarah miss pictures, because we had to go back for the memory card. So, now, when I download pictures, as soon as they are off the card, it goes right back in the camera, so I'm good to go next time!
