Reunion ideas?
I'm planning my sorority college reunion (10 yrs) for next fall. We plan on doing the whole football game, etc. There should be 20-25 gals. What did you like/not like about your college/high school reunions? (I'm also going to plan my 20 yr high school reunion down the road, but I'd rather not think about it...makes me feel old!) I want to make some of it family friendly, but I also want to "go out with the girls" bc Lord knows you can't have a decent conversation with kids around. I can also have the family get together at my house. Ideas?
NAME TAGS FOR THE FAMILIES!!! I just went to my husband's reunion, and it would have been so nice if my girls and I had tags that said our names, ALONG WITH my husband's name, so people knew who we were, and so that we knew who others belonged to.
I like the name tag idea. well it seems that you have you ladies covered with what you will be doing, football. As far as getting everyone together, Your house sounds like a nice idea, but also you saying there is a park across the street form you new house. if it's a nice fall day, thats may be a nice location to have a little something alsoand where the kids can roam without worrying about anything getting damamged/broken. I would find out who would be attending and with whom and I would do the name tags. You mentioned that it's your sorority so If you do decide to have it in your house, any old pictures that you have would be a great display for reminencing (sp)
This information probably won't be helpful with your sorority reunion, but it may help with planning your high school reunion. I went to my 10 year high school reunion a few weeks ago. I have to say it wasn't what I was hoping it would be like. The music was so loud that you had to yell if you wanted to talk to someone. Needless to say, I really didn't get to catch up on what my classmates have done since graduation. The lights were turned down low that I couldn't even recognize some people and you couldn't take pictures because of this.
Thanks ladies! You are so helpful!
