Has anyone tried the new Glad microwave steaming bags?
We had a lady come to our playroom for a demo. WOW, they work great. I cooked some fresh green beans at home the other night and POOF in a matter of minutes they were done and very tasty. No mess to clean or anything. Did snow peas last night, and they were yummy too. We had asparagus at the demo, and I have to say they were my favs.
I think I have seen Heidi rave about them also. I haven't tried them yet, but they sound great!!
YUmmy. I'll have to try them!
Asparagus is my favorite vegetable too also, I'll have to try those bags...!
I just got them last week and I LOVE THEM. They work really well.
Actually it was ZipLock
I'm gonna have to try those... I've been meaning to pick them up and I keep forgetting!
Ours were the Glad product. Don't know if the brand would really make any difference.
I haven't tried them, but since it's not a great idea to have plastic or plastic wrap on your food in the microwave, are they that safe?
Yes, I use them. They are great! No mess, quick and easy, and much cheaper than purchasing the small bags of frozen veggies in steamer bags.
I agree, they are great! I've tried both brands because I had coupons for both, highly recommended. I think they are specially made for the microwave.
It sounds convenient, but I stay away from plastic as much as possible.Even when I buy things like salsbury steak ,I take it out of its container and put it in my ceramic baking dish to heat it up.
I will have to try them. I buy the frozen veggies in steamer bags all the time. The are usually on sale at super Target.
