Hi, ladies. Thank you all for your prayers and kind words. We are doing ok. Like I've said in another post, it didn't really sink in that Maman Bozorg was gone until her funeral on Saturday (18th). The boys did not go to the services. We thought they were too young.

Anyway, the one we are concerned with most is my fil. For 20 years he had daily visits with his mother. This past Monday, he went about his activities as usual. Then he called Maman Bozorg's house and was confused for a sec when no one answered the phone. Then he remembered.

Tomorrow will be the 13th day since she passed. I guess in the Iranian culture, there is an event (for lack of a better term) that occurs on this day. The extended family will get together and...? I've asked dh questions about the event but I can't quite get a straight answer. I don't think he knows, either.

Anyway, I hope this post makes sense.
