Would you be upset if your Husband forgot your birthday? Today is my birthday, my husband has not said a word about it.. We both watched the news this morning, and it clearly stated the date. Of course I told my kids it was my birthday,after all, they are just kids. Faith said "tell daddy to buy you a birthday cake" ....a girl after my own heart.
I came downstairs this morning and saw that he had called but left no message. I "thought" ok, he remembered it was my birthday. He does work at a desk on a computer all day, he knows the date. I called him back and he told me to remind Elizabeth to clean her room. Apparently they had an agreement that she would clean when she got up. I said, "anything else" and he said no, and we both hung up...sigh...
When he gets home from his 2nd job, I will remind him that it is my birthday. Granted, our(mine and him)are never big deals like the kids. But... I ALWAYS remember to say Happy Birthday to him.
Yes, I am sad.. but I will get over it.

My dh hasn't ever forgotten but I don't give him much of a chance to miss it since I mention it a few days ahead of time. If he did, I know I'd be hurt to not have any mention of it all day. I hope that he gets his head on straight before he comes home. {{{Jackie}}}

Karen..I remember now. Last year we were on a cruise for my birthday. And yes, he did forget. Its hard not to know the dates on a cruise. I mean they leave you all types of stuff and excursion info on specfic dates. last year we were walking to breakfast,and I mentioned to my daughter it was my birthday. After she said he happy birthday, he did too.

Happy Birthday, Jackie. My hubby just isn't one to make a big deal of the important days. I just don't sweat it anymore. He is good in so many other ways. He was better, earlier in our marriage. Oh well. On the other hand, though, once he saw a cute little apple-shaped cookie cutter and brought that home to me, for no reason, other than I would like it.
