What's for dinner?
I always like this thread LOL I haven't cooked much lately with everything going on, my loss of appetite and it being summer with everyone coming in and out. Since the kids started school yesterday and they are home in the evenings I am making beef stew. It is tremendously hot here and beef stew probably wouldn't sound like something I should make in the summer but they all love it. I'll serve it with a garden salad and french bread to mop up the gravy.
We're going out for pizza tonight. We've got horses to tend to, so it's our lazy way out. Beef stew sounds good in spite of the temps.
We're having taco soup, tortilla chips and a green salad tonight. I'll make dessert quesadillas (tortillas with chocolate chips in the middle, warmed on a hot griddle and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar) afterwards. I love this thread too, Annie.
Since its only 59 degrees here and its a rainy yucky day I am making a pot of homemade chicken soup...haven't had that since last winter.
spaghetti and meatballs ceasar salad and garlic bread... by request of my oldest DD.
pork tenderloin sandwiches baked beans pickle spears salad The pork is a new crockpot recipe I'm trying.
Chuncky chicken potato soup. It is hot here too, but my dks love this. I serve it with salad and french bread.
Kid's are getting leftover lasagna or something easy and I am going to a friend's house tonight. Dh has a friend coming over to brew beer tonight so they will probably get pizza or grill something.
cajun oven fried chicken snow peas baked red potato frozen grapes as dessert
Grilled ham, noodles and green beans from the garden! Not my garden, but my neighbor shared some of hers!!
Whatever we can find! We have finally returned to the house for some normalcy and it's taking a couple of days to get readjusted.
We had a ham and cheese roll with baked potato soup. I love this thread, too!
We had Subway. Dh is out of town so we're doing our own thing.
This thread always makes me feel bad!:-) Only because I'm a lousy cook. My dh would absolutely love to come to some of your houses for dinner!
We were at my dad's, so Chris ate what my dad ate, which happened to be grilled cheeses. Yay, I didn't have to cook. I however, went and got hot wings. Those are my guilty pleasure, they are SO bad for you that I can't justify having them often!
We went to Culver's. I worked this afternoon, until 5pm, and Sarah had band practice at 7pm, so we didn't have a lot of time, for supper.
Burger King Yuck! LoL
Whats for dinner tonight (Thursday) We are having spaghetti and meatsauce, with a salad.
It is my birthday so hubby is cooking Steak Potatoes Ceasar salad Yeast rolls Cannolis from favorite Italian deli
Same here, Kathy--spaghetti with meat sauce and salad. Dks have tae kwon do and I have a parents meeting for orchestra (dd is starting violin) so I decided to make quick and easy tonight. Have a very Happy Birthday, btw!
hmmm...i am indecided. I was going to make a pork loin, but it has to get in the oven in an hour to be ready and not sure if that is going to happen. My older two are working on school projects (or not working) and they are in my "space" so until they get done I won't be fixin dinner. So if they aren't done by 4, then I will probably just heat up something frozen
We are having salmon patties, green beans, salad, and rolls. Happy Birthday, Yvonne.
That is for my dh to decide today. I am going to go home from work and take a nap. Jordan has a party to go to tonight so I am just refusing to cook tonight. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Yvonne!
jerk pork, rice and beans and grilled pineapple - for dh and I. Took the kids to an amusement park today so they are full from all the junk they ate, don't think they want dinner tonight.
Chicken, broccoli and rice casserole with fresh baked beer bread and chocolate pudding for dessert. Happy Birthday, Yvvone! Have you enjoyed your outdoor fireplace yet?
Thanks for the birthday greetings. I have used the fireplace 3x already Love it!
Bowtie pasta with sauce, garlic bread and garden salad. Happy Birthday, Yvonne!
We had chicken sauteed in garlic and olive oil, over salad with mozzerella. YUM!
I am making a ham dinner this weekend. I haven't done one since Christmas, but it's just me, dh, and ds, and maybe MIL. So it shouldn't be that bug a deal. But I haven't been cooking much this summer either.
Spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic bread...yummy!! No salad tonight though.
Going out to dinner with some friends tonight. Tomorrow will probably pesto chicken pasta with rolls, and a salad
