As you may know I have been taking lessons for a few months now. The pro at my club asked me to join the team. We will be playing matches every Monday. Today was our first match.

My partner and I did awesome. A few unforced errors here and there but considering this was out first match and first time playing doubles together, we did excellent. The score was 7-6, 6-4.

I had such a great time! We were all nervous at first but having this first match over and first win, I'm looking forward to next week!

Just wanted to share! And boy it was HOT out there today!

Very cool! I played in high school and then didn't play for years. I have been on a team now for 4 years. I love it, I love playing competivly again.

Aaaah, I miss coaching tennis. That's great you even know what an "unforced error" is! Took my kids years to figure that out. LOL
