 Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive August 2007: We finally closed on our house today.
I was going to mention it earlier, but things were so busy and I didn't want to jinx it either. (It's ALWAYS my luck that I say something is going to happen and then it doesn't pan out.) After our townhome has been on the market since February, we actually lowered the price $12,000 only to have a bid at our original price. LOL (They wanted cash back at settlement, but the neighbors were thrilled since someone was recently lowballed, in a divorce, and sold their end-of-group townhome for $35,000 less than what it's really worth. It did need some work though.)
PS- Connor sleeps in a closet because it's darker in there and he rolls around/passes gas/talks in his sleep so there HAS to be some sort of wall between us and him! LOL We had to even put a railing on his floor mattress just so he wouldn't fall off of it anymore and wake up. (He was doing this twice a night.)
I'm so happy that things are finally rolling along for you all.
Glad things are going well... and I hear you about having to sleep AWAY from Connor, I could NEVER sleep with Chris, he does all of the above. He is three and STILL his mattress is directly on the floor cause he falls off of it at night. If we put it on a bed frame he would break an arm or something!
