Some of you will remember that about a year ago we were having increasing amounts of spam by Anonymous Users, all of which were posted with the "you do not have posting privileges" message rather than the actual spam message. It was increasingly annoying to all of us.

Bobbie found a solution and we have not been troubled since on the main board. What happens instead is that all unregistered user posts go to a special queue, where the moderators can easily delete them. To give you an idea of what Bobbie has saved us from, yesterday I deleted 411 spam posts in the queue that had come in an 11 hour period. We usually have between 150 and 250 a day, and this 411 is our high so far.

Can you imagine what it would be like if all that came to the board???!!! We moderators are all grateful to Bobbie for figuring it out, and I'm sure you all are too.
