My Mom has been ill recently and we finely made her go to the dr. They did x-rays and she found out today that she has a mass the size of a 50cent piece. I think they told her that it is a nodule (sp?) mass. Which her Dr. told her that he lungs looked real bad. That this mass could be cancer. So I checked out on the internet and found out that it is a good chance that this may be cancer. She goes in Tuesday to have a complete body scan. She gave blood and they did some other tests today. my db and sisters are kinda lost and I think scared more than anything. I just worry if anything happens what about Dad. if you can please say a prayer for us and any info that you may have please send it.

BTDT, my mom had lung cancer. If it *is* cancer, there are a number of things you will want to ask the doctors, but for now, I am just sending prayers your way.

{{{Shann}}} I know how hard this can be. We went through it with my step-father. BUT.. and this really is a huge but, you can't get crazy at this stage of the diagnosis. There are so many things it could be. And... stay off the internet, especially since you really don't know what you're looking for right now. You're going to read alot of unnecessary things that probably aren't relevant to your mom's situation!
