I'm so tired!
Well, we are home from our adventures in StoryLand!!!! (Picture link on the picture board!) We went to StoryLand (awesome, beautiful, clean, HIGHLY recommended!) and Santa's Village (also fantastic)! We also did the whole Kangamagus Highway drive and went to Clark's Trading Post, complete with trained bear show, and walked The Flume (a very beautiful hidden waterfall)! On the whole, the vacation was tremendous! The Inn was great, everything perfect! Unfortunately, the poop hit big on our way home. My mother, not wanting to ruin my daughter's first vacation, held off on telling us that my grandmother had passed away the day after we left. She had been battling congestive heart failure for quite some time and her quality of life because of it suffered greatly. She had had a heart attack the week before we left, and we spent time with her "just in case". But, it's still didn't make it any easier. My DD fluctuates between saying that "Noni is in the hospital", and "Noni is an angel in heaven now", so I don't really know what she's thinking. So, right off the heels of an exhausting vacation (I need a rest from my rest), we've had to deal with arrangements and her house... and I'm soooo tired!!!! OK... I'm done whining! Thanks for the semi-pity party!
(((angela)) I am glad you had a nice vacation, but so very sorry for your loss.
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I'm glad to hear that you had a chance to recharge before having to deal with your grief. {{{Angela}}}

{{{Angela and Family}}} So sorry Sweetie.
Thank you so much, everyone! The last week has been so hard. I can't imagine how I would have done it if I hadn't just come off of a vacation... as much rest as I got running around the mountains and theme parks. But it was still emotional recharge! She was a wonderful woman, who leaves behind memories of a long and happy life, for herself, as well as my mother, me and my DD. She will be heartfully missed, but, at least now, she's no longer suffering.
I'm so sorry about your grandmother. {{{hugs}}}
