I am so excited, I can't even believe it! We are heading out tomorrow morning for our first "real" family vacation! We are driving up to NH and bringing my DD to StoryLand (a theme park for little kids with storybook characters) and Santa's Village and some other places.

When I told DD we were going to see Santa, she looked at me like I was insane and said "The North Pole???" I had to back pedal and say, "Oh no... We're going to Santa's summer place... where he brings the elves to play and swim and have fun!!" She was better about that. I don't think she liked the whole snow thing!

And I am happy because this place just happens to be one city away from outlet store central... so my DD can have a ball and mommy can sho till she drops!

Have a blast Angela! I love the outlets up there. My favorite is the J. Jill one. I also loved storyland when my kids were smaller. It is one of the cleanest parks weve ever been to.

We just got back from NH. I grew up there, and would you believe I have never been to Storyland or Santa's Village?! LOL!
