My precious DGD got married today

And unless several things changes,she's made a horrible mistake.If yall remember, this time last year my oldest DD ;s DH got transfered and they moved to Florida.That was very traumatic for all of us, and especially for my DGD.This was her senior year of high school ,so she had to leave her friends behind.She hated her new school, but she did go ahead and graduate.She doesn't do well with change (unfortunately she gets that from me )and her and her mom have been having problems for quite some time ,and this just esculated things.I love my dd, but she is very controlling and hard to get along with (like my X, her dad !!).Kaity is very family oriented,and she hates being so alone there .She even was going to move back home in May, after graduation, and DH and I drove our truck there to help bring her things back, but things happened and she didn't come back ( she was supposed to drive home with a friend later on, looooong story ).She got involved with this guy 9 months ago.She's 18 ,he's 27. He's an alcoholic ( and does drugs of some sort; I know he smokes pot, but not sure about what others).He lives at his parents house( which is where they both now live!).He treats her terrible most of the time.He goes off and leaves her so he can get drunk with his friends, because she is too young to go to the bars !! But, he leaves her all the time to do his own thing , anyway!!! He lies to her...doesn't work consistently. And a few weeks ago , she came down with a STD and he "manipulated " his way out of that !!!!!! She is a straight A/AB honor student; has won all kinds of awards.She is stikenly beautiful ( and not because I'm her grandmother ) She has long, natural blonde hair, very shapely, and is just beautiful. She could have easily gone in to professional modeling.This is so hard !! And to top it all off, she's trying to get pregnant !!!!!!!

Oh my goodness, gosh I am so sorry Wanda, what a terrible thing to have to watch this happen and know that there is really nothing that you can do... What a shame,,, just be there if she needs you and hopefully she'll come to her senses and get that marriage anulled. (((( HUGE HUGS))))
