Wisdom teeth
Sarah had hers out this morning. The dentist recommended it,when she was there in May. We wented to get it done, before she went off to college. She is pretty doped up yet, and will probably fall asleep. The doctor said everything went fine. She just reminds of when we had to go pick up Jasmine puppy, from the Humane Society, the first time we tried to get her spayed. They didn't discover that Jasmine was in heat, until they'd already drugged her up for the surgery. So, we took a dog home, who could barely walk. I have to work today, so it will be Emily's job to be the nursemaid, until I get home. Thankfully, we have the quick doc tonight, so I shouldn't be too late. I will be home tomorrow, though.
Poor girl... Hope she heals up quickly and is able to be meds free quickly too...
Did she have all 4 of them? I only had one, and it was impacted; it was removed when I was 23. The government decided to remove all 4 of Jules' at once when she was in the USCG, and she looked like a chipmunk for several days. Hope Sarah feels better soon!!!!!!
She had all 4 out at once. So did I, when I was about 23. Hopefully she's using her ice pack.
Ice Ice Ice! (((hugs too ) I had mine out when I was 35. It was not fun! I hope she is feeling better soon.
Yuck. Hope she's feeling better soon. Yes, it is a good idea to have them out now, rather than later.
I had all 4 done at once when I was 18, right after I graduated from High School. I remember my mom driving home and when she pulled up to a Stop sign I saw TWO of them. That was a bit unnerving to me. Hope she's back to her old self soon!
I had mine out when I was 25--three days before Robin's 3rd birthday party!!! WHAT was I thinking?!? lol Two were impacted and the other two rolled out like marbles. I hope she's not in too much pain and feeling better soon. Hugs to her!
How's she doing, Dawn? Hope she's not in too much discomfort.
She's much better now, since the numbness and sedatives have all worn off. She's only taking Advil for the pain and went to Applebee's with Emily and me, for some soup and a shake (eaten with a spoon -- no straws for a week!)
