No turning back now
Well, I contacted my Superintendent today and offically resigned my position. It was so hard but he was very understanding. My principal told me that I am so well respected that I would be welcomed back with open arms if we ever decide to return. That was really nice to hear. So, now the work begins. I have the kids bedrooms already packed. Today I have to finish the computer room so DH can finish the drywall here and get it painted.
Oh my gosh! You go girl!! Good luck with everything. How is your dh acting about this? Is he happier?
Good luck!
Jumping with both feet I see.. Good for you... Best of wishes, for sure.. Hope DH can find some peace.. Big hugs....
WOW! You really are moving? Wonderful! I am praying for you and I really hope that everything works out for you and your family. (((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))
Wow that was fast! Good Luck!
Wow, that WAS fast! You have more guts than *I* do, girl! Good luck!
This computer room is taking FOREVER! I didn't realize how much teaching stuff I actually have. I'm leaving most of it behind since I can get lots online now. It's taking me forever to sort through it though.
So what is the game plan?? I am assuming that since you are packing and pitching it is going to be fairly quick??
Game plan???? Do we have one???? Right now I'm packing up/tidying like a mad woman. We are hoping to have a garage sale this coming weekend. I leave on July 10 to mark provincial exams until the 15th and then we leave for a holiday that was pre-planned and paid for until the 23rd. We will probably leave here by the 12th of August. We will spend some time looking at homes. Luckily, we have a 29 foot travel trailer that we can live in until we take possession of something. We haven't listed our home yet b/c we are waiting for the appraisal (hopefully in a few days). We have the car and truck for sale and hope to sell them and just buy a new diesel truck to travel back in. If not, we'll just drive both back. It's all happening so fast. I go from excited to sad to off to excited....all in a matter of minutes it seems. I know there are many good things about this move. I'm tired and won't really have a relaxing summer at all. It will be fun looking for a new home. On the plus side, we should make about $200 000 on the home we just bought 4 years ago. That certainly helps. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers please.
You know it.. and your emotions are normal..
