Hey, remember me?! I'm sorry I've been MIA for soooo long! I had a full-time long-term sub assignment this school year with a Jr. High Special Ed class. That kept me busier than I prefer to be! It's been an eventful year. Dd just finished her junior year, so we've been looking at colleges. The future microbiologist also managed to go to TWO proms this year, (one dress!!) and lacrosse kept us all busy. She leaves tomorrow for four days of lacrosse camp. She also just returned from a choir tour to Europe. DH and I both turned the big "4-0" this year. We just got back from 12 days in Hawaii for our 20th wedding anniversary! It was wonderful. (Did I mention that this has also been an *expensive* year?!) Then there's DS who is now fourteen and will be a freshman next year. He is turning into a "guy" right before my eyes...weird! He doesn't do much outside of skateboarding, paintball, and video games. Our ambitious one, LOL. So, that's been my year so far, and it's only half over! Lately I have often been overwhelmed with God's blessings in my life, my marriage and my family. It's been a rough journey, but I LOVE where I am right now. I wish I could freeze things where they are right now... (I have been organizing old photos, so I'm a little sentimental right now, LOL.) Oh, well. I'm sure you'll see me around more now...I missed you guys.

Wow! You've been very busy. Glad you enjoyed Hawaii. And yes, old photos will do that to you. (I've been looking at mine and my boy's aren't even school-aged yet.)

Sounds like a busy year.. LOL Hope to see you around more often... Oldest DD graduated this year and it goes so quickly. Pictures are the worst for stirring up those sad feelings...

Wow, what a busy year! We've been looking at old photographs, here, too, since Sarah just graduated from high school.

Boys around 14, do start turning into men. I see it happening in the boys that go to my church. All of a sudden, they just don't look like little boys anymore.

DH and I celebrate 20 years of marriage, in October, but there won't be any money for a fancy trip, because we now have to pay for college!
