I had my belly button pierced! My three girls came with me. 16 year old watched but my 13 and 11 year olds sat in the lobby and held their ears. LOL

The girls like it but my ds thought I was too old for one.

I don't think you are ever too old for anything as long as it is done with taste... Life is too short not to enjoy it.. And to me you can age with grace but still have fun while doing it.. But DS is a bit young yet to understand the difference.. LOL

Kewl! I had mine done 10 years ago, at 41.

Theresa, when I got mine done, it hurt a LOT for about 3 seconds, then it was OK.

Annie, I used sea salt soaks several times daily on mine, and it healed quicker than it normally would.

Thanks everyone. I am proud of myself for stepping out of my box, a bit.

It actually didn't hurt at all. The only negative side of it was I couldn't sleep on my tummy last night and that is how I usually sleep. I'm using the salt water spray several times a day. Other than that I was told to leave it alone.

I'm planning on doing yard work today and my dd teased me that I will want to do it in my bathing suit!
