she has a bad case of vertigo and is also breastfeeding ... the meds the dr gave her dries up her milk and so she is stressed out over weather to breast feed or take the meds and then her world is spinning and she is tired and wore out and just plain barly living ... can anyone give us some advice to help her out she is willing to try about anything.

I have a friend who had it and honestly, I don't know how she would have survived without the medication. She got so sick with it she was put into the hospital! Is there another med that wouldn't dry her out that she can take?

I know several people who have had vertigo caused by the "crystals" in their ears being messed up. Can be caused my a minor blow to the head, car accident, or random stuff (one friend got hit with a tennis ball). Anyway, they went and had their head shook or something to help realign stuff.

My sis had vertigo issues related to her sodium intake (called menire's i think).

Anyway, so any idea what is causing it?

I have so been there and done that it is not at all fun. I thought I was going to die. I was put on the meds and it worked. Mine was caused by a sever inner and outer ear infection. I really feel for her it is not at all something I want to do again

I was put on Meclizine which you can buy over the counter I wasn't perscribe anything. The dr told me to purchase this on take them and I did I don't know if its the same meds your friend was told to take. dh works at a pharmacy and I can get some info on it if you would like

thats what she is taking ...so i gave her all the info and we did some more researched and she is going to the dr to maybe see if she can get a shot of some meds that last a bit longer with out the side effects huggs to ya
