Got it.
Trina, I just visited carseatdata.com to find out if my car seat will fit the new car we are looking at, they don't have years past 2003, is there another website I can check? TIA
Kym, unfortunately there isn't another web site like CarSeatData.org. What car and car seat do you have in mind?
I have the Britax Marathon, and am looking at an 05 Pontiac Montana, we currently drive a Suburban, and would like to get the same seat for the second car, the Montana. I love the Marathon!
Does the 2003 Montana have the same body style as the 2005? There is a listing for a Britax Husky, which is much bigger than the Marathon. I think it's fairly safe to assume that if a Husky fits than a Marathon would as well. Of course, I could be wrong, but I don't think there should be a problem. On the topic, the Marathon is an awesome car seat, but if you're looking to save a little money for a back up car seat in a second vehicle, the Fisher Price Safe Voyage Deluxe ($130-150) is worth checking out. It's made by Britax under the Fisher Price name, and is essentially a Marathon without all the bells and whistles. I have one and love it. The differences: Harnesses up to 55 lbs., no built in lock offs and regular LATCH hooks (as opposed to the fancy Britax ones). Fisher Price Safe Voyage Deluxe
