Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) on Bullying
Moms View Message Board: Books, Movies and TV Shows: Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) on Bullying
Myley Cyrus was on The View recently and even though I have no girls, I was taken with a key area of her new book Miles To Go that was discussed. The topic was bullying and ostracization in school. Evidntly it happened quite a bit in her middle school years. She had a lot of validating and supportive things to say for her viewers and fans who may be experiencing this in their lives. I thought it was worth sharing it here to pick up the book if you have a Hannah fan at home. There were also a number of other frank discussions on topics close to a pre-teen and teen girls heart. Sounds like the book is a good place for a heart to heart conversation starter (if you read it together - looked like a quick read). If can't do the book, the interview which is also on The View website might be the cliff notes version. I could only find it on YouTube (by the way its Barbara Walters interviewing her): Part1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O9BpA1OzLA&feature=related Part2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kr8AtN-9P4E&feature=Responses&parent_video=tkJxWXSfw3s&index=0&playnext=1&playnext_from=RL
