Alvin and the chipmunks
Moms View Message Board: Books, Movies and TV Shows: Alvin and the chipmunks
Has anyone seen it yet and if so did they like it. My kids are going next week for a field trip and they are all looking forward to going except dd who is in 3rd they are going to see enchantment and she would rather see Alvin and the chipmunks. I think I will take her when the twins go and see it.
It releases Dec 14.
I didn't realize that. I am looking forward to seeing it with them. So I will post about it after we get to see it.
Dd (6) wants to see it, too. That's why I knew.
Anyone seen this yet? My mom is interested in taking Natalie this weekend to see it. I just wondered what the story line was like, excitement level, etc. She's a very mature 3 1/2 yr old that watches movies all the way through with great interest. I'd love to hear thoughts about this one! TIA
My kids loved it. Thats all dd could talk about she could go line from line. We are going again this weekend to see it dh and middle dd hasn't seen it yet
I thought it was cute. But I think they made them to teenagerish. Focus on the Family knocked it some for its crude language, body humor, and something else. And some lady called in to a local radio station last Saturday and said she wished she had NOT taken her kids to see it. But I took my 6 yo dd to see it anyway. I didn't think it was any worse than any other kids movie that I have seen lately. Kids were laughing. And the crude parts were almost flashes meaning I almost didn't catch it. The chipmunks were cute and lovable. I personally liked it.
Thanks for the info! We may pass on it. I didn't really fall in love with the trailer for it, but mom thought of it so I was considering it, too. I'm trying to steer clear of 'teenagerish' things, so maybe this isn't something I want her to see at the moment. Thanks again.
WE saw it last night, and thought it was so very cute... My 3 yr old sat through it. She loved the music, and was bopping around when ever they played it.I may be a little slow, but I missed all the crude parts? My 13 and 8 yr old liked it as well.
My older two, 8&7 loved it! My mil dislikes cartoonish movies and she took them and liked it also.
