The Bee Movie, Fred Clause & Mr Magoriums Wonder Emporium...
Moms View Message Board: Books, Movies and TV Shows: The Bee Movie, Fred Clause & Mr Magoriums Wonder Emporium...
I have seen these movies with the kids over the last couplf of weeks. The Bee Movie: *ok*. It was a little slow to me in a few spots. But my 7 yo enjoyed it! Fred Clause: I thought it was *pretty cute*. Not the BEST movie I have seen. But it was cute and I would watch it again if I had it on DVD. Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium: I found myself smiling through the entire movie. I enjoyed this one just as much as my 7yo. When it was over he said " I want that movie on DVD so I can watch it AGAIN!!" lol I think for me, this one was the best of the 3... It's very silly, magical, happy, a little sad at one point. Today we may go see *The Gameplan*... I saw a good review on it below.
We saw the Bee Movie a few weeks back and thought it was very cute. My 3 yr old got such a kick out of it, and it kept her interest the whole way through.
We took dd to see the Bee Movie. We all enjoyed it. It held Lara's(5)interest quite well. She didn't want it to "be over".:-) Conni, the previews of Mr.M's Wonder Emporium intrigued me. Thanks for your review! I want to see that one next.
My 10 year old saw the Bee Movie this weekend and said it was "kinda lame". I doubt we'll take the other two kids to see it until it's out on DVD but I've been interested in Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium so it's nice to hear that you both enjoyed it so much!
Mike and I went to see "Fred Claus" yesterday. It was wonderful! With Vince Vaughn in it, I thought that it would be funnier (and maybe a little "R" rated), but it was really sweet and touching. It was about sibling love and friendship. It had a nice message. It was clean, and the scenery was spectacular! It is just the way you'd expect the North Pole to look like! It even had a brief message about how it isn't polite for men to wear a hat in a restaurant (something that BUGS me! I hate to see that). I was really pleased with the movie, and will buy it when it comes out on DVD, and keep it in our holiday movie collection.
