Okay, anyone else willing to admit they're into the UFC? (Ultimate fighting.) I got hooked a few years ago, something I never would have guessed! (And many are surprised to learn!) I haven't been keeping up with the series on Spike, but enjoy the fights. We get together with friends and watch the fights and have a blast. This weekend the fight is in Cincy! Rich Franklin is from Cincinnati. We thought about going, but the tickets for close-up were $400!! I'd rather watch on Pay-Per-View than be far away.
My DH is a huge fan and has been for years now. He was into it when they were just a small show and no one watched it. It's a hobby for him...he checks rankings online on a regular basis, can tell you about any fighter, etc. He never misses the series on Spike. Our Directv bill always has a fight on it. DH never misses them. He's found a way to budget them though - he has a deal with 2 other friends who often can't watch at the same time their on. DH tapes it and they split it 3 ways so it ends up being no big deal $-wise. We used to watch it with friends when we were dating. I used to watch it with him several years ago but have kind of gotten away from it. I still prefer boxing. Flip it to HBO boxing and I'll ALWAYS be right there. LOL
