I knew they would never find him guilty.Goes to show you what money and fame can do.I think the mother of the young boy is just as guilty as Micheal is.Shame on them both,and the jury.

I don't know that the jury could have done anything else. He admits to sleeping with young boys, which although is very odd and, imo immoral, it's not illegal. I didn't follow the trial closely, but do you think they proved, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that he was guilty of anything more than being really really odd? (BTW, I do think he is guilty. I just don't think they could have successfully proven it).

The prosecution made the mistake of basing their whole case on an extremely flimsy family, who seemed to have a habit of 'getting in' with celebrities.

Melanie and Kay are right, but I cannot help but feel the same way Nanaoie. I didn't follow this as closely as I would have liked, but to me, it seems like a no brainer that the man has issues with young boys, and somehow, some way, someone needs to be able to stop him.

I just hope to god that these families of young boys will stop letting there children become involved with this man. It's as much the parents fault as it is his at this point. This whole thing disgusts me. I don't think the jury did have the evidence they needed to convict, even if he was as guilty as sin.
