The gist of it is that a priest in New Hampshire asked, in 1976, to be relieved of duties involving children because he had molested at least one child, but his Bishop refused and reassigned him to working with youth.

My DH grew up in Claremont, NH and knew Father Aube. Fortunately, he wasn't one of the boys involved. To think Fr. Aube, and others like him, asked for help and to be removed from their positions working with youth, and they were denied! *Shaking my head in disgust*
