Brendan goes in tomorrow morning to have his tonsils and adnoids taken out, they are also going to check his right tube and replace the left tube.

He's a little nervous and mommy is a basketcase...

So if you could spare a few prayers for us.

I understand your anxiety and concern, it's perfectly normal. BUT - I have BTDT with my DS, and I can pretty much assure you, he will be fine! And he will feel much better, be much healthier after it's done.

Jeff had 3 sets of tubes, a T & A when he was 3 y/o, and has had 5 eye surgeries, 2 of them before he was 3.

I don't mean to compare, but he WILL be OK!

Prayers sent. I remember feeling the same way when DD had eye surgery at 8 months and T and A at 4 yrs. You know it is a common procedure but it doesn't stop you from worrying anytime they go under.

Brendan's doing great!! The surgery went well and I'm really believing that I made the right decision in doing this because not so much as a sniffle (knocking on wood) so far! We did have a some issues afterwards with him not eating and he lost 4 pounds but we're on our way to getting that back and doing much better now.
