About a month ago, we got a notice they were going to lay about 10% of the workforce off. In fact, the company is nationwide and it's 10% all over the country. Apparently, we found who goes and who stays at the beginning of next week (December 1st.) DH heard from a retired guy who'd talked to someone, that they were going to let 7 people go, but I don't know how much faith we can put in that rumor. Needless to say, DH is beside himself with stress over this. So, keep us in your prayers.

I can feel for you Dawn, Gary and his fellow employees are in my prayers. Seems daily we are getting news releases about some place else laying off, it is kind of scary honestly.

Very scary, esp not knowing for so long. I don't know if having it hit you one day when you go to work is any better than knowing and worrying for weeks that someone is going home.
