Prayers are needed please. A friend of my families is having allot going on right now. The 10yr old son was burnt badly (3rd degree) and right now is on morphine drip at childrens hospital. I do not know all of the details I know that I was told he was doused in kerosene/gas and lit on fire by kids older than him that he was not suppose to be hanging out with. He will most likely need skin grafts (sp?) on his leg or legs and he is burnt from chest level down. Prayers strongly needed thanks everyone.

What kind of person sets another human being on fire??? What is WRONG with people?? This makes me so angry.

That poor child and those poor parents. How horrible. I will say prayers for him too.

Sorry for the long delay. The kid is going to be fine he is going to have a tough road ahead with some skin graphs but other good.

The story was he (10 yrs old) and a 14 yr old boy were playing in the back yard lighting small things on fire well they decided to do their pants and unfortunately the 10 yr olds went up first. The parent in a widow mom who does NOT mother her child at all. Since the dad passed away 3yrs ago he is a wild child. The mom never did really parent him the dad (and not very well either) did and now she still doesn't he just does what he wants when he wants. So unfortunately this was something that we all saw coming. We were not sure how he would get injured but we knew with the kids he was hanging out with something would happen. Hopefully this wakes her up.

There is just SO much wrong with that statement. I mean, how STUPID!!! I'm just thinking, what went thru their heads? "hmmm, I wonder what would happen if I lit my pants on fire?"
