My Mom is taking a generic form of Lipitor and with this copay she would pay less for Lipitor than for generic but she is on Medicare so not eligible. My husband used to take it also but changed because of the cost. He is going to check to see if this would save him or be the same.
But anyway generic is supposedly the exact same medication so it really doesn't make a difference. Or does it? Any thoughts on generic vs name brand? I always buy generic of everything OTC, prescription if it is available.
