I'm supposed to be working on a monthly newsletter that I publish for my town Newcomer Club. So, why am I HERE?! LOL!

You're doing exactly what I do when faced with a writing deadline...anything else! LOL Usually I find dishes to do, laundry to fold, bathrooms to clean...it's amazing how much I can get done, avoiding work! (Could I borrow your whip sometime? )

Actually, I have plenty of housework to do as well, but am using the newsletter as an excuse. LOL! However, I'm not even doing that!! Argh.

Well, today was not a total loss. I actually got 3/4 of the newsletter done. Now I'm waiting for late submissions and a few loose ends to be tied up before I can finish. It doesn't need to be dropped off at the printer until the 28th, so I guess I'm doing OK.

I did all my stuff today already. We had to buy presents for Emily and get them wrapped. We had to pick up her cake from the grocery store, along with buying supplies for home-made sub sandwiches and fruit salad. Then I had to make supper and we had to eat.

We are waiting for dad to come home for supper, to do that cake. He is working, so we ate without him.

I also had to go in and get my PPD (purified protein derivative - TB) test read. We get them yearly, at work, around our birthdays. Mine was negative, as always.

Then I went to my department and pencilled in my vacation time. (June 10th through 16. We leave for South Dakota the day after school gets out!)

So, I have earned my time to play now!
