I have a friend that keeps suggesting I complete online surveys for some pocket money. I'm very leery of signing up with just anyone on the Internet since it's so easy to scam people. I don't think I've ever made more than a couple dollars online doing surveys, and I always use a junk email addy to do them. I have made some money doing secret shopper assignments (I got to do a Sprint store, haha, you know how I feel about them!!), you sign up online and they email you assignments in your area. Honestly, the one thing I do consistantly and have earned great rewards with is MyPoints, but I also do some shopping through them, not just reading the emails. If you want to give it a shot, just sign up with one of the reputable companies and use a separate email account for that purpose.

Coincidentally, I just got a $30 check in the mail today for doing a body wash survey where I tried 2 different products in the home. I've received several $10 Target gift cards through MyPoints (like Crystal mentioned).

One of the tricks is to fill in enough of the little surveys that they ask you to do one of the larger surveys that pay more, like $25 to $40.

I actually won one of the drawings with NFO, and they mailed me a check for $100.

I already participate in the MyPoints program but since I don't do much online shopping, it isn't producing much. I keep hearing about these surveys that pay $30+ but I don't know of any reputable companies to go through. Thanks for that info, Kay.
