Quick Shine by Halloway House. It's for wood floors that need a little TLC. It's no wax and can actually be used on tile too. It's amazing stuff. You just mop it on and it actually adds a shine that stays to your floor. You can put up to 6 coats on to make it more shiny. It's good stuff if your wood floors need a little help. We are trying to wait another year before we refinish our hardwood floors and I think this will be the trick. Had to pass it along!

Ug, I meant to reply to your e-mail about this and got waylaid. Sorry. We looked into this a few years ago. The directions say it can be used on "sealed wood floors". Well, the poly finish on our floors has pretty much worn off, so they're not "sealed" any longer. LOL! I don't want to chance it. We'll just have to bite the bullet at some point and get them refinished.

BTW, your floors are in GREAT shape!

Just so you know, I've had EIGHT floors in my house refinished, and it's NOT the awful process I thought it would be. We had to do a few at a time, so that there was a place to put the disrupted furniture, of course. But, the clean up wasn't bad. I merely dry mopped the walls and ceiling with a swiffer and that was that! There wasn't dust everywhere and it wasn't messy. Expensive, yes, but not the sawmill atmosphere I thought it would be. Seal your vents though.

I'm going to have to look into this. The tile floors in our kitchen aren't looking so good anymore. I like the idea of a little shine back into that area. Do you know if it makes the tile slippery? The last product I used made the kids slip and slide.

We may have to try this when we clear our housing, because it's all wood floors, and they need some TLC!! Thanks for the tip!
