My neighbors dog had surgery and had to have its leg amputated. She had cnacer and they seem to have gotten it under control for now, but it will eventually spread to her lungs. This dog is her child. She does not have any kids. She is a very sweet lady and i want to get her dog something, but haven't a clue what to get. Can someone offer up some ideas? TIA.

Or a nice new dog bed maybe?? As far as treats go, you can buy doggie ice cream in cups at the grocery store. Riff and Shelby get those on their birthdays. Maybe that would be a special treat?

I like the idea of a soft blanket. Maybe even take it and have his name embroidered on it to make it more personal

You have already been given some great ideas. How about a bag of yummy treats and a cute bandana to wear around his neck. Or a new dog dish with his name on it. Or I have seen collars that you can put names on in rhinestone letters. New leather collar?

I dont know. LOL Nice of you to think of him tho! Sorry to hear about his sickness and his surgery.
