Good luck, Catherin. I remember how nervous I was when interviewing for my first job after many years of being a SAHM. I did just fine, and so will you.
Thank you sooooo much Ginny I was going to respond to this before I left for my interview but I got home from my children's school and my power was out!! I had to get ready for my interview in the dark LOL! Showered by candlelight and went without makeup knowing that I'd not do it well by candlelight!
I went and we had the interview and I scored points by having been through the website and knew a lot about the company already. We talked about life a little in between questions and it was very relaxed and casual. I think it went really well and her decision will be made by mid to the end of next week!
I can't wait to find out if I got it or not!
Glad the interview went well! I can't believe you had to get ready with electricity! I'm sure that wasn't good for your nerves

Oh Catherine, that's one for the books. I remember when I was getting ready for my first interview here, and using the hot air wand on my hair to curl it up. After using the wand, I'd spray with hairspray, and it would go all limp again. It took me 3 tries before I realized I was spraying conditioner, not hairspray. AND, I got the job.
LOL! I definitely want to keep that one for the books..I just couldn't believe it...my first interview in YEARS and my power goes out lol....

honestly I think I got it..but I don't want to get my hopes up too much. I told my friend a lot about the interview and he thinks I got it too. *is keeping her fingers crossed*
Actually I think that calmed me down Annie...at first I was like Oh geez...but then I took the shower by candlelight and dug out my flashlight...and it was so hilariously funny it relaxed me a bit by the time I got there I was completely relaxed. We talked a lot and laughed..She even asked me if I have tattoo's I decided to answer honestly and told her I have 4...and it turns out her AND the CEO went together and got a tattoo LOL!
I have the skills they want, and I know her and I connected on a really good level..and I'd done my homework. I had read through their entire site before I went and while I didn't have it memorized I was able to tell her enough about it for her to know I was telling the truth and she said I definitely scored points for that one
I'm sooooooo excited to have this job!
You did all the right things, Catherin, especially checking the website so you would know what kind of place it is, what their priorities are, and could talk about how you would fit in and what you could do for them. The tattoo thing is kind of funny, but if they couldn't see them, that's all that really matters - but it was nice to have a fun thing to share with the interviewer.

Heidi I sure miss our talks...I wanted to email you lately but I know how busy and stressed you've been with everything with you mom and connor and with Scott being gone. I sure hope things are slowly getting better. You are always in my thoughts.

Oh, I am so excited to hear how well it went for you! I thought of you first thing this morning! And all day long! I just can't wait to hear how it goes. You just have to tell us as soon as you hear. The follow-up note is definitely a great idea. You want to stay in their mind as they are going through their possibilities. Good luck Catherin! You deserve this!
Just getting on here again! I can only be on here for a few minutes each day...I can't even check our checking account for very long! LOL
Thanks for thinking of us...I miss our chats too. As soon as I get my mom into a nursing home, things will settle down I think.

I am very excited. The kids seem to think it's great! The two little ones are happy they'll get to go back to their childcare place..they miss it already and it's only been a week!
I'll make sure you ladies are the first to hear as soon as I know....gosh I sure hope I get it or I'm gonna be really down lol
