I saw on you menu post you use the fly baby mailers. I'm truly thinking of purchasing this for 1 year. I never knew anyone who used this. I've been stuck in a cooking rut lately and really want changes in my menu. I love cookbooks with pictures. I've looked at this many times and am just so hesitant. May I ask a few things? How often does the menus rotate, or is there a different one for every day of the year. Do you usually like the menus or have to change much? I love the fact that the grocery list and nutrition info is there. Would love to hear from you. TIA
Hey, Marg! I've only been doing it for about six months, so I'm not sure about how often they rotate...I don't think I've seen the exact recipe twice. I actually bought "Saving Dinner" first, (the cookbook) and did that for a year. You may want to do that to see if you like it. You can get the shopping lists for the book online, which is nice. As I said in my post, I only cook four nights a week, so I just choose the four that sound the best to me. They have not all been winners, lol, but I LOVE the variety, I LOVE trying new recipes, and I LOVE having someone else do the meal planning and making the shopping list for me! And, I feel really good about putting "real" food on the table for my family. Again, I highly suggest getting "Saving Dinner," and you will see the types of menus she puts together. Every week there is a pasta dish, a fish dish, a crockpot meal, a chicken dish, etc. I'm sure it's not for everyone, but I really like it! HTH
Thank you Michelle. I'm so tired of cooking the same thing, I need some change. I will try Saving Dinner and see how I like it. Thanks again
